Supervision
Get Supervised for licensure!
So you’ve finished grad school. What an accomplishment! When I had just graduated, I wanted to relax, soak it in; it was such hard work. Instead, I found myself worrying about next steps. How was I going to get my credentials? My hours? Money?! Fortunately, I had an amazing supervisor to hold my hand through it all. He helped me get my license and then inspired me to open a private practice years later. I am so grateful for that guidance that I am committed to providing it to others who find themselves on the path to licensure.
You deserve a celebration of your master’s degree! And you also deserve some hand-holding with your next steps. Getting your license and establishing yourself is anything but a straight-forward process. My mission is to provide effective clinical support as you navigate difficult cases, as well as clear guidance in completing the requirements for licensure. I want to help you find your footing as a mental health professional so that you can do the outstanding work you are meant for.
My approach, as you will read, is somatic, Gestalt, and attachment-focused. In supervision with me, you will be encouraged to feel your own feelings as we explore client matters. I will help you get into your body, as everything we do with our clients is a matter of energy flow. I will also tend to administrative matters with you, ensuring you do not fall behind on notes, treatment plans, and your own requirements and goals for professional development. If you feel a connection with this description, please contact me to set up a consultation and we can explore the possibility of going on this journey together.
